- Test speed on an older phone.
- Use motion for one hero moment, then let the content lead.
Questions
Do animations slow a website down?
Light CSS and JavaScript animation, like ours, has little effect on speed. Heavy video backgrounds and large libraries are what slow pages down.
What is reduced motion?
A phone and computer setting for people who feel unwell with movement. Our animated templates respect it and show a calm version.
