The license in plain words
Use it for anything, including paid client work, change it however you like and even share your changed copy. The one rule: keep the copyright notice and license text with the code (for example the LICENSE file). You do not have to show a credit on the page.

Checked on October 27, 2026 from the LICENSE file in the source repository (Copyright (c) 2021 James Panther (https://jamespanther.com)). Full text: MIT License. The license file that comes with the template is what counts. This is not legal advice.
Who it suits
Good to know: Needs Hugo to build.
How to use it
This is a Hugo theme, so it is not a single HTML file: you write pages in Markdown and Hugo builds the site. It needs the Hugo program on your computer, or a host that builds it for you.
- Start from the theme's guide. Open the GitHub repository and follow its install steps; most themes offer a starter you can copy in one click.
- Write your pages in Markdown. Each post or page is a simple text file.
- Publish. Free hosts like GitHub Pages, Netlify and Cloudflare Pages can build Hugo sites automatically when you push changes.
- Keep the license. Leave the LICENSE file in the theme folder.
