Docsify theme by Docsify
Docsify turns a folder of Markdown files into a documentation site in the browser, with no build step. The default look has a sidebar, search and a cover page.
MIT Free for commercial and client use. Keep the license file; no visible credit needed.

Use it for anything, including paid client work, change it however you like and even share your changed copy. The one rule: keep the copyright notice and license text with the code (for example the LICENSE file). You do not have to show a credit on the page.
Checked on October 29, 2026 from the LICENSE file in the source repository (Copyright (c) 2016 - present Docsify Contributors). Full text: MIT License. The license file that comes with the template is what counts. This is not legal advice.
Good to know: No build needed: add one index.html and your Markdown files.
This is a Docsify theme, so it is not a single HTML file: you write pages in Markdown and Docsify builds the site. It needs no build tool at all (Docsify turns your Markdown into pages right in the browser) on your computer, or a host that builds it for you.
Prefer plain HTML with no build step? Try our originals or a plain HTML template.
